GOP hopeful Lally drums Yarmuth
Citing “gross misconduct in the operation of our government,” Republican Congressional candidate Todd Lally responded Tuesday to U.S. Representative John Yarmuth filing for a third term. “Yarmuth has voted against his constituency in favor of a health care measure that will ultimately hurt local businesses and families,” Lally said in a statement, “He voted for Cap and Trade legislation that will hurt Kentucky industry, Kentucky jobs, and Kentuckians’ pocketbooks by way of higher energy costs. He has voted 98.8% of the time with Nancy Pelosi, and has acted consistently as a mouthpiece for her radical agenda.”

Todd Lally to run against Yarmuth
The first Republican to officially enter the race to become Kentucky’s Third District Congressman says he’s ready for the challenge. Todd Lally made the announcement Friday.
He’s the first to formally announce he’s running against Democrat John Yarmuth, and he says he has lots of policy questions for the incumbent: “We’re going to get into that open trade policy that hurts Kentucky, we’re going to get into that healthcare thing, we’re going to ask him why he voted certain ways on certain things. We’re going to ask him why we still don’t have a bridge in Jefferson County.”
Lally recently served on the Executive Committee of the Republican Party in Jefferson County.
Republican Todd Lally interested in Louisville’s 3rd district congressional race
Todd Lally, a Lieutenant Colonel in the Kentucky Air National Guard and a pilot for UPS, has filed paperwork for an exploratory candidacy for U.S. Representative 3rd District of Kentucky. Lally, 38, is a combat veteran of both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a native of Louisville and grew up in the Tyler Park area. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Atherton High School and is married to the former Heather Morrison of Louisville and they have two daughters, ages 8 & 12
Pilot enters GOP race to oppose Yarmuth
Todd Lally, a UPS pilot and former state House candidate, announced Friday that he would join the field of Republican candidates who want to challenge U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth for his congressional seat in 2010.
Yarmuth Officially Has Competition for House Seat
Congressman John Yarmuth now has official competition for next fall’s congressional election. Today in Tyler Park in the Highlands, Republican Todd Lally announced he’ll be seeking Yarmuth’s seat from the Kentucky 3rd, becoming the first opposition candidate to join the race.
