This prime office will serve as a sign depot and volunteer meet up spot for our walking efforts in this part of the county. Southwest Jefferson County is home to major warehouses and industry, thousands of small businesses and a tireless sense of work ethic among its population. The coming years will be key for business growth and the area will require true advocates for entrepreneurial ventures at all levels of its governmental representation. As our campaign ramps up, Southwest Jefferson County will be the number one area of focus to ensure victory in November.

Yarmuth’s Voting Record Tells the True Story

JohnYarmuth attacked the White House for their economic agenda – the same agenda he’s backed at every turn: “Democratic U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth lashed out at President Barack Obama’s economic team Thursday, saying they show more concern for Wall Street than average Americans in a blunt election-year assessment from an Obama loyalist frustrated by a tepid economic recovery… ‘I’m not real happy with our economic team in the White House,’ Yarmuth said. ‘They think it’s more important that Goldman Sachs make money than that you make money.’” (Bruce Schreiner, “Yarmuth Critical of White House Economic Team,” Associated Press, 8/12/10)

House Minority Leader John Boehner Holds Fundraiser for Todd Lally

Louisville, KY- In just over 90 days, residents of the 3rd District will cast their vote for the Congressional seat. Our campaign has been vigilant in volunteer recruitment and fundraising. These efforts have been taken notice of by many mediums in the political realm.  The National Republican Congressional Committee put Todd “On the Radar” as a part of their “Young Guns” program due to outstanding fundraising and support from grassroots volunteers. This announcement was soon validated as our campaign out-raised our opponent in the last reporting quarter. Additionally, the 3rd District was branded “safe” for the incumbent, but now even entities like the New York Times have changed the race from “solidly Democrat” to only “leaning” Democrat.

Lally Statement on Disclose Act Failure

Republican Congressional candidate Todd Lally released the following statement today: “The Senate’s refusal to take up a vote on the Disclose Act is indicative of the dissatisfaction with Congressional Democrats who have made another attempt to give special rights to organized labor at the expense of the people, instead of addressing our struggling economy. The primary concern among Americans continues to be the state of our economy and jobs market, and Democrats, including John Yarmuth, have wasted the past 19 months chasing their dreams of government takeovers only to find their failed agenda has left many districts, like Louisville, with double-digit unemployment.

Lally Demands Transparency

John Yarmuth’s most recent poll was performed by the Democrat-affiliated polling firm Coopers & Secrest. Coopers & Secrest have cultivated a reputation as Democratic push-pollster in a number of districts across the country. Most  recently, Coopers & Secrest was accused of attacking Gov. Bobby Jindal in 2007 for being Catholic. Such allegations have surfaced in other areas as well. In Ohio, Coopers & Secrest alleged in their polling that Republican Martin Hoke was a member of a cult.

Lally is set to unseat two-term incumbent John Yarmuth (D-KY) this fall in Kentucky’s Third Congressional District race.

GOP Todds slam Dem incumbents for no vote on budget

The two Republican Todds facing Democratic incumbent congressmen on both sides of the Ohio River are both railing against the failure of the Democratic Congress to pass a budget resolution. Todd Lally, the Kentucky 3rd Congressional District opponent of U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth says Yarmuth “comes back to the district with no budget, no path to reduce the deficit and tired excuses about the former administration. This kind of procedural incompetence can no longer be tolerated.”
