Conservative Values

Our Declaration of Independence defined our core American values, exemplified by life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is with this in mind that I share my conviction in support of the right to life, for we must vigorously defend these rights for those who cannot defend themselves. I am very proud to have been endorsed by Kentucky Right to Life in this run for Kentucky’s Third District Congressional seat.

Challenges to conservative values, embodied in the right to life, a traditional definition of marriage, or otherwise, have come largely from activism in the courts. As your Congressman I will not get to vote on the confirmation of judges, but I will, in every way possible, support the nominations of judges to the Supreme Court who strictly interpret the Constitution and therefore resist judicial activism.
