Lally Demands Yarmuth Vote NO on Healthcare

In light of the recent layoffs at Humana and Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s Healthcare, I will unveil a campaign asking John Yarmuth to vote “No” on the Healthcare Reform bill that is currently on the floor of the House of Representatives following the University of Kentucky basketball game tomorrow on 840 WHAS. I am the first Republican Candidate in this congressional race to publicly hold John Yarmuth accountable for his support of this flawed bill. I will invite the voters to join me and sign an online petition opposing this measure.

It has been said many times, the sole purpose of Healthcare Reform is to cut costs related to healthcare. In fact, the Congressional Budget Office has said that Government spending will increase by $200 billion dollars. Individuals’ insurance premiums will rise by ten to thirteen percent because of Government mandates. And to hit the tri-fecta of pain, in no way does this bill help us to cut down our ever-growing national debt.

The people of Louisville are tired of this Congress spending money we don’t have. Please sign the petition and we can demand John Yarmuth vote “No” on a Healthcare Reform Bill that we in this community do not want. It is time for John Yarmuth to decide if he represents the people of Louisville and Jefferson County or Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Respectfully,
Todd Lally
